Pick the milestone you need built next.
Every engagement below ships with a written spec, an acceptance checklist, and a fixed price you approve before a line of code is written. Start at discovery, or hand us a defined build — the pour is clean either way.
The engagement list
Six ways we take on work
Each is scoped as a standalone unit with its own acceptance criteria. Figures are typical starting points; a discovery call sets the firm quote. Invoiced net-15 by ACH or wire.
-
01
Discovery sprint
A 2–4 week engagement that de-risks the build before budget commits: product spec, data model, architecture diagram, and a clickable prototype you keep whether or not we build it.
- Written spec & acceptance criteria
- System architecture + build estimate
- Interactive Figma prototype, handed over
From $8,200 fixed fee Book discovery -
02
Web application build
React and TypeScript front ends on a Node / PostgreSQL core — dashboards, portals, internal tools, and customer-facing platforms built in two-week increments with a working staging demo at the close of each.
- Front end, typed API, and database
- Automated tests + CI on every pull request
- Fortnightly demo and invoice
From $46,000 scoped per sprint Scope a web build -
03
Mobile application build
React Native for iOS and Android from one codebase: offline-first sync, push notifications, biometric auth, and full App Store / Play submission handled on your developer accounts.
- Single codebase, both platforms
- Offline sync & conflict handling
- Store submission & review support
From $58,000 scoped per sprint Scope a mobile build -
04
APIs & infrastructure
Typed REST and GraphQL services, auth, background jobs, and Terraform-managed AWS environments with CI you can read. Good when the product exists and the plumbing needs rebuilding.
- REST / GraphQL contracts, documented
- ECS, RDS, S3 — provisioned, not clicked
- Environments rebuild from code
From $23,500 scoped per sprint Discuss the plumbing -
05
Design system
A documented component library and accessible UI primitives your own team can extend without us in the room. Tokens, patterns, and a living reference your designers and engineers share.
- Accessible component library
- Design tokens & usage docs
- Figma + code in lockstep
From $18,400 fixed fee Plan a system -
06
Launch & stabilization
Hardening, production deploy, monitoring, and a documented handoff — plus 30 days of stabilization so launch week doesn't turn into your emergency.
- Load & security review
- Monitoring, alerting, runbooks
- 30-day stabilization window
From $13,600 fixed fee Plan a launch

After the build
Ongoing work, priced the same way
$9,800 / month
Continuous engineering retainer
A reserved block of sprint capacity for teams shipping a live product — feature work, dependency upkeep, and incident response under the same demo-and-invoice rhythm as a build.
Reserve capacity$4,600 fixed
Architecture & security review
An outside read on an existing codebase — data model, auth, dependency risk, and a prioritized, written remediation plan your own engineers can execute.
Book a reviewFrom $6,900
Legacy migration
Moving a product off a framework or host that's holding it back — incremental, test-covered, and shipped without a big-bang cutover.
Scope a migrationFrom $3,200
Performance pass
A measured sweep on load time, query cost, and bundle size — with before/after numbers, not hand-waving.

Questions informed clients ask first
Why per-milestone instead of a retainer?
Because you can halt a build at a known line rather than discover the real cost after it ships. Each milestone has a fixed price and acceptance criteria you approve up front; you decide whether to start the next one.
Do we have to start with discovery?
No. If you already have a spec and a data model we can review, we'll quote the build directly. Discovery exists for products that are still fuzzy — it's cheaper to fix a diagram than a codebase.
Who owns the code?
You do, from day one. Work lives in your repository under your account; we're contributors. There's no vendor lock to the studio and nothing held hostage at the end.
What stack do you build on?
TypeScript end-to-end — React / Next on the web, React Native on mobile, Node services, PostgreSQL, and Terraform-managed AWS. We pick boring, well-supported tools so your team can maintain the result.
How do you keep us in the loop during a build?
A working staging demo at the end of every two-week increment — something you can click, not a status deck. Each demo pairs with the invoice for that increment.
What happens after launch?
Every build includes a 30-day stabilization window. Past that, a continuous engineering retainer keeps the same team available, or we hand off clean documentation and step back. Your call.
